1. Who we are

MiaoShan Arcade ("we", "this site") operates an online mini-game portal at miaoshan.org.cn, hosted on servers located in Singapore. For all data protection matters under the PDPA you may contact us at admin@miaoshan.org.cn — this address serves as our data protection contact point.

2. What data we handle

Our games run entirely in your browser. We do not require registration and do not collect personal identity data (no name, phone number, ID, address, or payment details). The only data involved:

• Local game saves — high scores, unlocks and preferences kept in your own browser's localStorage. This stays on your device and never reaches our servers.
• Multiplayer session data — for online games, your chosen nickname and in-game actions are relayed between players in the same match so the game can run, and are deleted when the match ends.
• Chat messages (online games) — filtered for harmful content and retained up to 15 days solely for abuse review, then deleted.

3. Purpose & basis

Under the PDPA we collect the limited data above only because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for (e.g. relaying your moves in a match). We do not use your data for any other purpose, do not profile you, and do not send marketing messages. Since we hold no identity data, no consent-based marketing or disclosure scenarios arise.

4. Access, correction & withdrawal

You may access and erase everything we could possibly hold about you at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage. Because matches and chat logs are transient (≤ 15 days) and contain no identifiers linking to you, no further action is normally needed. For any request, email us and we will respond within 7 days.

5. Protection of data

We transfer all traffic over HTTPS. Chat is machine-filtered in real time. Access to server logs is restricted to the site administrator.

6. Data retention

• Local saves: kept by your browser until you clear them.
• Match data: deleted at match end.
• Chat logs: up to 15 days, then automatically deleted.

7. Cross-border transfer

This site is hosted in Singapore. Our Chinese-language mirror (shanmiao.xin) is a separate, independent site hosted in mainland China; playing here does not send your data to it. We do not transfer personal data to any third party.

8. Third parties

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profilers, or social plug-ins. The site is self-hosted and self-contained.

9. Children

Our games are suitable for general audiences. We knowingly collect nothing from children. If you believe a child has shared something in chat that should be removed, email us.

10. Changes to this policy

Material changes will update the effective date above. Continued play after a change constitutes acceptance.
